With over 25 years of frontline experience supporting people with disabilities, I’ve helped individuals build life skills, understand behaviours, engage in their communities, and navigate life transitions—always with the goal of promoting independence and wellbeing. My professional focus has grown to include building and managing not-for-profit organisations, ensuring they meet industry standards through strong governance, policy, and quality frameworks.
Now pursuing a career in Occupational Therapy, I’m drawn to its creativity, flexibility, and person-centred approach. OT allows me to tailor solutions to individual needs, stay engaged in the evolving human services field, and continue supporting people of all ages—whose resilience and uniqueness continue to inspire me.
Outside of work, I enjoy a coastal lifestyle—fishing, beach walks with my dog, and the occasional karaoke session. I love live music, themed celebrations, and balancing intense work with moments of rest, reflection, and joy.

Royce is an Occupational Therapist, Mental Health Clinician who grew up on Darkinjung Country (NSW) and brings a holistic, culturally grounded approach to therapy. With experience across child and youth trauma, adult mental health, and community practice, he integrates kinship, connection, and creativity into his work.
Holding a Master’s in Psychosexual Therapy, Royce supports clients to build healthy relationships and wellbeing across all areas of life, including the fundamental aspect of intimacy, within our relationships to others and with ourselves. Developing a healthy connection to the sensory/sensual experience of the body can serve as a stable foundation to optimal health and vitality.
Royce has worked with neurodivergent populations since the start of 2023 and really enjoys it, as it is more conducive to his own quirky, atypical personality and way-of-being in the world. Royce is also a qi-gong (chi-gong) teacher and utilises this somatic mindfulness practice in therapy if necessary.
Outside of therapy, Royce is a very creative person, as he is an aspiring musician - music producer, DJ, guitarist & vocalist. He enjoys being creative. Royce believes developing a healthy connection to creative energy can optimally support one's mental well-being. Royce is spiritually inclined and prioritises self-care through meditation, yoga & qi-gong, and exploring the natural world through hiking. Valuing balance and authenticity in all he does, he also enjoys a good laugh, as both humour and humility can offer a lot to someone's well-being.
